Find supported formats, upload limits and practical guidance for completing your form.
Files to provide
Form to complete: one PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP. Sources: PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, DOCX, TXT, JSON, CSV, TSV, Markdown and EML email with supported attachments. Completed downloads are PDFs. Images support up to 12 megapixels and 10,000 pixels per side within the 20 MB file limit. Convert HEIC, TIFF or animated images to a supported static format before uploading.
Use clear, upright documents with printed English text and unlock password-protected files first. Form Filler completes text answers. Review the result, then add signatures or mark checkboxes in your PDF editor as needed.
Upload and processing limits
Upload up to 20 MiB per file, 50 MiB of source content per package and 20 source members, including email attachments. PDF forms can have up to 50 pages; source PDFs can have up to 100 pages each and 200 source pages per package. MiB means 1,048,576 bytes.
OCR processes up to 10 pages per file. Check each document's reading status; for long scanned files, split them into smaller documents. You can add missing answers directly in the virtual form.
Understanding proposed answers
Supported identifies answers linked to source evidence. Check highlights answers to review. Missing identifies blanks, and Conflicting highlights information that disagrees. Your edits are shown separately.
Review the virtual form alongside the document preview. Open More for source excerpts and answer details, make corrections, then finalize and download. Blank answers do not stop you completing the rest of the form.
Adding or replacing information
Keep using the same application as you gather information. Add source files, review updated suggestions and keep your corrections. If you remove a source, review any answers that relied on it.
When something goes wrong
For a file that could not be read, try a clearer image, an unlocked PDF or a supported text document. Add missing answers manually. Adjust a proposed answer position in the interactive preview, then inspect the completed PDF.
